Hi Jan,

As you say there was some variation in spring hanger design across the CMP range, the main difference being Chev/Ford as Keith mentions. The situation with Fords can be summed up as follows:

4x2 CMP: Light duty spring hangers front and rear.

4x4 CMP: Heavy duty spring hangers front and rear. Identical throughout the range of vehicles. 3 types of RHF spring hanger according to steering box set up:

1. Cab 11/12: 375 type steering box mounted directly to chassis.
2. Cab 13 early production: 375 type steering box mounted partly to spring hanger.
3. Cab 13 late production: 400 type steering box mounted directly to spring hanger.

Auxiliary rear springs: fitted to all 4x4 CMPs except SWB chassis.

Hope this helps, let us know if you need photos/measurements.

Cheers,
Tony
