Dave, George in his official position, needs to make a little effort to be a bit more accurate. That little spiel was pretty disappointing. There is enough mis info regarding carriers without that B.S.
If as Alastair says (and I have no reason to doubt him) the Loyd was built in 1940, The T number will still only be a 5 digit number. Off the top of my head,I would suggest the 6 digit T numbers never occurred until later. Maybe late 42 or 43.

The Loyd is probably 1940 As Al said.
The rare Universal George spoke of is the 1938 Bren, which he seems (from the clip) to take little interest in.
I DO support his efforts to get an extension to the museum, to house the 80 odd vehicles that are not able to be seen by the public.
