Martin I agree with you - flashers are mandatory if the truck is to be road registered and you'd know better than I would about making a right-hand turn from the wrong (right) side of the road, but I find them perfectly acceptable when the truck is driven on the left of the road - after all that's where the truck was designed to be driven.
Many Australian produced Chevs have flat round mirrors which are barely adequate.
Still think that non-original mirrors are fugly.
