Hi Svenn
Lets start with which wiring diagram in the manual do you have? See
http://canadianmilitarypattern.com/R...Harness(2).jpg
Now to your other questions as they are connected on my 45 HUP.
There are three main switches - "tail", "tail and side", "tail, side and head"
How were these connected?
Tail turns on just the rear red tail lights
Tail and Side turns on the rear red tail lights and the front white or clear markers.
Tail, side, and head on the rear red tail lights and the front white or clear markers. plus head lights
Would it be like if "tail" and "tail and side" were off, but "tail, side and head" switch in on position - tail light and side light would be on as well as headlights? and simular if "tail" and tail, side, head" were off, but "tail and side" on, side lights and tail light would shine?
Does anyone have a diagram showing these connections?
which switches do you have screw terminals or plug pin type?
The manual shows a setup that would require all three switches in on position for the switch's light to shine.
On mine I'll have to confirm the switch position, I know that my practice is to turn all three on to reduce the load on the individual switch contacts.
Does any one have a picture of the rear side of the dash with wiring?
Picture is tough as the wires are really stuffed in but yes I have some and will post them. I also have a hand draw diagram that shows the wiring for the pin type switches. Which I will also post.
What is the 3 post junction block underneath on the left side for??
This one is easy it is the connection point for the dimmer switch. Will post a picture.
Hope this all helps
Cheers Phil
