Museums
Hey Jordan
Definitly hit Milarm for his museum, they have over 300 complete uniforms on displaym they are hanging on hangers as it is a small small place. The wife and I have been there several times and make sure we go upstairs everytime we go.
If you need any parts or wood for a Lee-Enfield bring your wish list as they have a ton of old parts in the back.
Google the Loyal Eddy museum for the address, it is in the old armories in town and has some excellent specimins of a Bren, Piat and a wedding set, (Husband and wife) on display.
Expect to take a couple days if you go to wetaskawin as it is several hours to get there from the city and when I went all they had was Model T fords on display and nothing else, there is a small second building in the back where they have some War birds and several ribbons and medals on display.
Of course if you have a bit of time swing out to the base and see the tanks they have as gate guards as well as some other vehicles. You will be able to drive around a large portion of the base with no hassles and see any iltis they may still have, we saw 20 - 30 when we were there.
Gary
PS: make sure you get to the museum at the muny airport, they have an awsome collection of planes and static displays, I would say that they compare to Trenton's museum.
