WTF-1942 U/C Mk1* carrier Generator rebuild
I am presently rebuilding a 6V generator for My 1942 Mk1* carrier, and need some help with finding a replacement armature.
I have all the replacement parts for a rebuild of the generator except the armature.
I have tried a number of places here in Canada, and the USA to find the replacement armature- Ford part # GAE 10005. The part # is taken from the Universal Carrier Parts manual FUC -03 on page 88. No luck!
If anyone has a cross reference# for this part that I might use to find a replacement please let me know. Failing that, if anyone has a good used armature that they would be willing to part with, please let me know as well.
I would have looked for a replacement generator, except the one I was given is a original generator, with the proper #s stamped into the front frame along with the Ford # 79-10139.
