May I say here that I salute the New Zealand Armed Forces for maintaining some very old vehicles that had probably seen some pretty severe service ranging from perhaps North Africa to Italy to perhaps even the final battles in Mid Western Europe.
I was particularly taken by the 41 Ford Fire Tender that was 26 years old when the photo was taken and it looks as new.
