Does this help? The casting has a join mark around the centre of the flange.
It appears to have been jig mounted, and rotated against a grind stone on the mating face. There is a very distict casting line around the two bolt holes, adjacent to the elbow outlet.
There are casting lines running up the inlet at forw'd and aft.
I can look at another, and those casting lines running up the inlet are at 90 degrees to the previously mentioned one.
It appears that several different methods were used ( one of which may have been fabricated)(Kevins one)
By the way, I would like 2 left side ones, not a pair please.
