Default GM Java
General Motors Java Handel Mij supplied the Opel, Chevrolet, GMC and Maple Leaf vehicles. Until I saw the photo of the Opel staff car circa 1940, I had no idea that GM Java had imported any Opels but this was part of the 1936-on push to export. I wonder if there were any Vauxhalls in the Netherlands East Indies?
