Bob
I was of the unsubstantiated opinion, (total assumption) that the panels would have been made by the various carrier manufacturers. The instruments themselves were scourced from various instrument manufacturers. each type (ie speedo was by Smiths, the temperature gauge by IRAC?) being different in a carrier.
I cannot recall the manufacturers of the oil pressure guage, or the amp meter.(maybe I never knew) If memory serves me the face of the British ammeter is white, while the oil pressure gauge is black.
A little (Australian) bird told me that the panels were made by CAV?
The approach was different to when Australia built carriers, where they used what ever Ford was able to supply.
Does that help? This will probably now be corrected, by the thus far, silent majority. (Which I would like to encourage, in the interest of accuracy)
