Hmmm . . . HUPs are not really suitable for towing and complete FATs rarely come on the market. Maybe you friendīs best bet is a 15-cwt?
Let him do his homework, there is enough material available on this site alone. And check
CMPs for sale in England to see what comes up for sale every now and then.
