1939 & 1940 MODELS
The 1939 & 1940 Model trucks [second and first respectively?] are possibly in the batch that were acquired direct from GM Near East, Alexandria and then issued to British forces..and then to AIF, NZEF, IA? They may therefore be US-sourced and not Canadian 1543 models.
The battered one looks like a CC60L at frst glance.
