Default Question

Hi Alan-

I don't know of a direct cross reference from Chev CMP numbers to GM but I do have a copy of the MapleLeaf GM parts book that gives all the civilian part numbers. Depending on the part you will find that the CMP part number is the same. Also some of the CMP parts books also list the Proprietary Numbers.

If you have particular parts you want the Mapleleaf numbers for let me know.

Now my Question are the MapleLeaf part numbers the same as the Holden part numbers. I've found that some MapleLeaf part numbers are different that the US General Motors Parts numbers.

Now as to transmission parts, I have found that GM civilian part transmission parts are interchangeable with CMP transmissions. So far I've used the civilian bearing numbers, top spline shaft that the shifting gears slide on.

Hope that helps a little.

Cheers Phil
