We did not set any attendance records for the last Beer Call, but those who showed up enjoyed themselves immensely. Don Dingwall, Grant Bowker and I held the high ground while waiting for the stragglers to arrive. We chatted about things CMP when not distracted from the beauty that bounced before us at every turn. Gracie's girls were wonderful as usual.
I am not a spiteful person, but I refuse to post the photos of the Gracie's lovelies because Bob wasn't there. If Bob couldn't enjoy the view(s), then I feel it necessary not to show anyone else.
Gunner and his band of merry men and ladies arrived a little later in the evening after having convoyed themselves from Kars to the Aviation Museum for the Air Rallye Weekend. I'll leave it up to Gunner to discuss the S&P Museum's activities.
A shot of the S&P team: Gunner's dome is visible on the right of the photo, and Grant can be seen at the top left.
At 9PM, we old folks saddled up and rode off into the rain. A subdued ending to a subdued meeting...
The Rotters Morale Officer will be suitably chastised.
