When I first took on the HUP project, I tried to straighten out the sheet metal using all of my limited talent. Since cursing did not help, I took the HUP to a highly recommended "body man" to get the fenders hammered out and a new roof installed. After paying for the body man's new shop, I decided that all future work that I can possibly do, will be done by myself. It just got too expensive using the body man, even though he did a wonderful job of repairing the rear fenders.
The URL you sent is very interesting. I will measure my fenders next week and compare them to the thumbnail table.
I still need to replace or finish hammering out the front fenders as they were also in bad shape:
