My wife pointed out the truck hauling the gun/limber/25 pounder when we were passing thru Drummondville last summer. Quote: "Isn't that one of those ugly trucks you collect?" At least she is qualified CMP Spotter Class III... I wasn't aware (until you started posting on this forum) that there was another CGT/25 Pdr outside of Toronto.
You will have to advertise more.
Stuart, I remember the Svc Bn/CN loading the train and securing the MLVWs for transport out to RV85 with similar type equipment...except they cinched them down too much and damage to the suspension resulted. Expensive lesson learned...
