Nice pictures......
Hi James
The kind of pictures that would make a grown man cry... of joy or of sorrow.....
Do try to save the box if you can..... and do not give up on the cab..... be nice but keep asking.
By the way it would be appreciated if you could find and write down the registration ID ... if it is still in/on the truck.... should be a small plate on the right hand side of the engine cover. Should be able to see it directly in front of you when you open the drivers door.... just above the floor/seat area on the engine cover.
Without the air vent it would have to be a very early model.
While shopping in that yard you might want to look for a replacement engine....Chev 235 or 261 of 1954 and up..... easier to rebuild with regular insert bearings and good oil pressure.
What else is hidding in your neck of the woods??
Hang in there.... rumor is Spring is coming....
