Default Slough CMD, Haymill, Burnham

I am currently researching the Candadian Camps which existed in Slough in around WW1 and WW2. This is because I actually live in Haymill and have a small community website with a history section. It turns out that my current house was probably 100 yards or so from one of the canadian camps.

So far, through the excellent work on these pages, I have found a picture showing the location of the map and showing that the local Citroen Factory was used by Canadian troops. I also know that there is a Hospital located nearby which was built by the Canadian Red Cross around WW1 and extended and manned during WW2.

I am hoping that I might be able to find more information through these pages. I have already managed to get some audio clips from some of Haymills senior residents talking about the existence of the camp which I will post on the haymill web soon.

If anyone has any other information I would love to here from you.
