Yes that's interesting. I see the RCAF Stores Vocab section is 15B. I am assuming that RCAF & RAF Vocab sections are going to be much the same.

I have been trying to find out what was in 15B for some years. Although I have Vocabs AP1086 for 1948, 1970s & current, none include 15B.

15A - Man carrying parachutes
15C & 15D - Equipment dropping & sea rescue equipment.

So can anyone shed any light as to any other items that would fall in Section 15B?

I can only guess gasoline, may have been diesel, or ?
the bottom is protected by a wood insert circular in dia x 3/4 inch and inserted into the bottom rim of the can, the top has a large screw bung and a smaller screw bung, top looks to be soldered in place ?
