Bedford QLC 'artic'

I've read in Classic Military Vehicle - June 2002 an article about Bedford QLC used as tractor for semi trailer. Do you know where I could find much data about this particular version of QL?

You could try and locate the book written by Bart Vanderveen titled "Kaleidoscope of Bedford and Vauxhall Military Vehicles", or Robert Coates book, on the Bedford QL. I have lent my copy to someone and cannot remember the title, something about "....to Berlin".
The trailer was not intended to be removed from memory, unlike normal semis. Because of the length of a QL there was load space behind the cab for a maximum of 1 ton weight.

"Bedford to Berlin and Beyond" - I'm looking for a copy myself...

Bedford to Berlin and behind

I'm looking for "Bedford to Berlin", but it looks to be out of production. Any idea of where I can find it?
I've tried to contact Chris Evans Books, but I've not received any answer.

I've never heard of "Kaleidoscope of Bedford and Vauxhall Military Vehicles". I've had a look around the web, but it looks out of print too.

I hope to find both!!!

Hanno and Barnaba,
Try Pate Ware, at Warehouse Publications, I am sure he still had this one listed in his recent catalogue. The Vanderveen Bedford book is hard to find now, best try those that deal in secondhand books, or advertise. Try Falconwood Bookshop, they have a stand at Beltring and specialise in military books.

Bedford QL tractor-trailer combo

QLC variant, perhaps better known as QLS... This was a conversion of the QLC chassis cab to a 6-ton semi-trailer tractor Standard Ballast box, semi trailers by Scammell, Glover & Webb and SMT.

This from a small article I wrote to appear in HERITAGE COMMERCIALS MAGAZINE.

Interesting. I didn't know of Bedford QLS. Do you think that magazine will be available overseas?
