You might think this is out of place in the softskin forum, but it does relate to CMP softskins...
This mural is a mosaic and is 50m long and 2.8m high. It was commissioned in 1977 by the Geelong Council and took artist Harold Freedman 3 years to complete. It's located in the 'upside down' government building in Geelong and depicts the development of Geelong. |

Now this is what caught my eye - interesting to see they chose a cab 12 F60L to represent Ford at war.

		This is real ART.
Howard, I think you should bring this to the attention of the Ganmain elders - after all Ganmain IS the centre of the Cab 12 universe isn't it? |

Awesome!!! I've always really loved mosaics ... and the closeups shots show some great work on them ... and talk about a HUGE mural project. Amazing. The subject matter is really something too ... cmps and such ... I'm used to seeing religeous themes mosaics ... but then again, I guess CMP's and military stuff really is a religeon to you enthusiasts!!! :D
Great stuff!!! and thanks for posting. |
