Stupid Music Question

I've never downloaded music, but I want one song if anyone has it, have no idea on how to find it. Nicki French, Total Eclipse of the Heart. Anyone have it?

Howard 24-02-07 04:39

Tune

Jiff, a quick search shows several versions of this song. I assume you are not after the original 80's version (Bonnie Tyler). It was remixed into a dance track a few years ago & also has been re-recorded by several other artists. The Niki French version is a club/dance version...
I have the Niki F version downloading now & will email it to you when completed. May take several hours due to:
a) my connection speed
b) my computer's speed
c) I am away from the PC for most of the day. Painting the Gutters. (A.K.A. Gaining "Blitz Credits")
HH
Please PM me with your email address.

On it's way

Jiff I have downloaded & sent the track. However I cannot be sure it is what you are after as my sound card went BzztFffttt several months ago & therefore I cannot hear it before I send it. Sometimes files are incorrectly labeled, so if it ain't right let me know...

... Jif, send me your email and I will get it for you.

Thank you, both Howard and Alex. I've loved that song since it first came out. Guess I'm just a big suck.

Anyway, Howard what you sent me works fine, and Alex, the Bonnie Tyler version is new to me, so thanks. :salute:

Good stuff, I like it all but really a (wine red of course) SG man at heart (have to say its an Epiphone - can't justify or afford the Gibson).

Before the Aussies claim Angus for their own we should point out he's Scottish. . . . . . . .

Ah; Ball, Winnington, Geoffrey. Mk1* MLU for the use of.

Most enjoyable and quite Canadian indeed, I'm obliged.

My I offer the following as the epitomeš of quintessential Britishness, you will doubtless recognise some of the people and both the military, and military vehicle, connection therein.

For your complete pleasure some background information and the words for you to sing along are here but beware we use the first verse only:
http://www.sterlingtimes.org/memorable_images15.htm

Then:

Noteš
Incidentally, we observe a worrying trend amongst the southern, North Americans, and an increasingly odd trend amongst our antipodean chums also to get the emm fasis on the wrong sill labble; so this is epito-me and not epi-tome.

I remain your obedient servant sir

Roger all, and thank you for that. My Queen's Commission is on the wall not two feet away from where I sit at this moment, and her spirit is never far away from me at any time.

By chance, were you at Wembley Stadium in '81, or have you seen the video? I know a number of chaps who were there, and I'm proud of the Canadian contingent... they stood for us well, particularly the Queen's Own Rifles, my family regiment. Our Scots did us well, too. Can't figure out this Utube stuff or else I'd try to post a link.

Great song... has anyone else seen the Far Side animated cartoon using this song? It's inspired!
