Vintage Insurance

I was just approved for vintage insurance for my carrier .This allows me to drive on the road to any car show out here on the west coast.
There is one more that has already recieved the insurance and another club member submitting his paper work.
also there is an m4 gun tractor that is also road legal.

cletrac (RIP) 25-02-07 00:47

Being a farmer, I can drive my Cletrac high speed tractor anywhere I want with no restrictions and liability wise I'm covered by farm insurance with no extra premiums. Enough gloating for now.

Brokers

Any CMP drivers from Ontario wish to comment on their experiences with insurance brokers?

I am looking at Whetter Oaklin Insurance Inc. - http://www.classiccarcoverage.com/eligibility.html

and, Silver Wheel Plan & Custom Wheel Plan
http://www.lant-ins.ca/

Are there other options for CMP insurance?

From the eligibility screen for Whetter Oaklin: "The automobile will NOT be used in any speed tests, racing or off road use of any kind."
I don't know how you plan to use the HUP but this could become an issue.
Otherwise it is good to see that there are at least two options for insurance.

No worries with the "speed tests or racing", but the "off-road use of any kind" may cause some concern. I'll get them to define the term and see where it goes from there...
