hi

my guess is it's a sterling, and i base this on the shape of the fenders only, because if it is the grille is incorrect, and all the pics i have seen of these were hard cabs, not rag tops. sterling trucks were supplied to the U.S. Navy during the second world war. do you have a side shot of it by chance??

My guess is an NR model Mack with either home made mudguards or mudguards from another type of truck.

Photo is courtesy of the AWM.

nope its about 1/2 that size. its right near a turn of the century train dept. full of old steamers and all kinds of rolling stock near coffs harbor. the guy that has the train dept also has a working centurian.

Could it be a LeRoy Mack, with a non standard grill.

If I am correct the Australian army had a few

The original bumper with towhooks and both the hood windshield and radiatorguard are MACK NR (although only the bumper with towhooks points us that way)
Axles don't look like NR but could be of a NM.

Jeroen

ps more pics?
