Soccer(football ) Question
Why do countries in the World Cup playing one another go nuts when there's a 0-0 score at the end of a game. :confused In our hockey we have shootouts to determine a winner.Isn't the idea of sport to win a game??Where do the teams go from this 0-0 score. Are they still alive ? Do they play other 0-0 game ending teams in their division to determine a winner?? :bang:

... the reason is to get points, you add them, and at the end of the season the team with the highest score in points is the winner.
eg 0:0 => every team gets one point eg 1:0 => winner gets 3 points, looser nothing |
If you think that's confusing...
Try understanding the 'offside' rule to the point where you can pick it while watching a game!
