Hi Marco.

Isn't there some law in Germany that a private person is not allowed to own armoured vehicles??

Carriers can cost up to $20000 restored.

Hallo Marco.

Nicht gibt es etwas Gesetz in Deutschland, daß eine Privatperson nicht zu eigenen gepanzerten Trägern? gelassen wird?

Fördermaschinen können bis $20000 kosten wieder hergestellt.

Hello Brad

however, one may have an armoured vehicle as a Private person if one has it before Demilitarisiert that is one must cut pieces of the armour plating

Yes certain ones put there where the driver sits and on the ground then one leaves whole from the economic velvet and you may put the being absent ones to weld again with 3 mm of metal.

Bren Carriers are rare, but Universal Carriers most certainly are around - see thread for sale: Mk.1* Universal Carrier built by Ford of Canada, March, 1943.

Here's hoping you don't have to cut up the armour on a Universal Carrier - your head is sticking up above the armour anyway so the police can shoot you if they need to.

Also in Maryland

Len K. is also offering his for sale, also on MilWeb:

1944 Canadian MKII Universal Carrier

In nice shape, runs good, with some spare parts, $9,500, or $11,500 with a spare set of tracks.
