See KitMaker Gallery for an extensive set of photos showing many details of a Chevrolet CGT and 25-pdr field gun. Also see page 23.
Note: this gun is owned by the Netherlands Army and is still operational.

Looking at the dash of this CGT, I very much doubt that the three position control switch is of original issue.

IIRC, this device came into production with the CDN 1952/1953/1954 M series Dodge vehicles. Yes/No?

Jon, well spotted. It's a standard type of switch found on all post-war US vehicles. It was a post-war addition by the Danish Army, where this CGT came from. At one point in time it was fitted with a GS body - see Interesting CGT - and was later reconverted into a CGT.

Guys, The webmaster of the kitmakers website has changed the status of how people view the photos on this site. You have to be a registered member of the Model site 'Armorama' to view the full size photos. This membership is free however.

Also my photo archives will soon ( in the next few months) be up and viewable there as well again. My call up sign there is 'MrRoo' so look for Roo's Truck Archives or similar.

cheers
Cliff
