ID help please

I have identified the attached as a mid- late thirties Commer civilian truck but I think I am wrong. I also thought it might be a Diamond T based on the grille style. It is LHD so if a Commer was an export model.
Anyone have an idea?? Dummy Dugan am I. Of course I mean the vehicle behind the Blitz. Bill |

Here's a shot of a Diamond T from the legendary Tom Kruse's collection. Tom drove this and other trucks in the 30s and 40s for outback pioneer Harry Ding.
I spoke to Tom about this vehicle - he wasn't very impressed with it's suitability for the role and said it had a weak gearbox and was always trouble. |
