I haven't a starting point for you, but the Library and Archives Canada has made a major push to digitize and post war diaries. Log on and see if they have your unit's records. I have gone there to find WW1 personnel files to help family members, and to view the WW2 fatality files.

Nothing in the War Diary. If only 3 Rgt had a War Diary like that for 2nd AT Rgt. It is far more detailed and it seems they had a really bad time in July.

Regimental history (published in the 90s but written much earlier if I have the background correct) is vague on dates but c. late June/prior to Op Windsor they reverted to 'normal establishment of one troop of M-10s and two troops of towed 6 pdrs apiece'.
Reconstructing from the description of D-Day org, that would be: 4 Bty A/B Tp - 6 pdr C Tp - M 10 52 Bty D/E Tp - 6 pdr F Tp - M10 94 Bty G/H Tp - 6 pdr I Tp - M 10 105 Bty J/K Tp - 6 pdr L Tp - M 10 |
