1952 RCAF Cadillac ambulance - auction in BC, Canada
3 Attachment(s)
Thought I would post this if anyone was interested in bidding?
I was there last weekend on holidays and had a good look at it. If it was closer to me I may have bid on it, lucky it’s too far away for me to haul home! Good luck with the bidding. If anybody wins it on MLU, let me know, I know where there’s a gurney for it! Derk https://www.icollector.com/auction.aspx?as=84457&p=3 |
The same auction site https://www.icollector.com/MIKE-HALL...ION_as84458_p3 lists:
2 lots of 5 9.00-20 military tires a M3 halftrack a M2 halftrack a cab for M35 CDN a M135CDN several Nodwells a Bedford TM 4-4 an Elvis Stillwort (their spellings...) several early 40s cars/trucks Yes, these do appear to be the "characters" from History Channel's show "Rust Valley Restorers" |

Not common, for sure. But besides the odd import, the British have trained in Alberta for a lot of decades now, and do dispose of some of their equipment here. It has resulted in a lot of vehicles like FV432s, Landrovers, Bedfords, ferrets, and a host of others showing up here and there. |
The Cadillac ambulance apparently sold for $3,500.00.
Anybody on MLU buy it? Derk |
