Special plate for Latin American market like Argentina?
Seems to be factory, no Argentinian reproduction...

Can you confirm whether the gearshift plate is for a truck with single speed transfer case or a two speed transfer case?

If it is for a single speed transfer case, I suggest the data plates are for a C8A Heavy Utility because of the combination of 101" wheelbase, single speed transfer case, no winch, fuel tank filler at rear of tank.


The only Canadian CMP I know of with a 2 speed transfer case and a 101" wheelbase is the artillery tractor and that had a winch that should show on the gearshift plate. Fuel filler at the rear of the tank matches the images of Argentinian artillery tractor you posted.

Thank you. If all of the data plates came off 1 truck, I think they best fit a C8A heavy utility. I have seen C8A that had wiring and lubrication plates on the doors, but not many on other types of Chevrolet CMP with the plates.

The black gearshift plate would also be good for a C15A truck (also single speed transfer case).
