looking for correct ww2 paint

Hi, Would any one have a source in north America for WW2 British Silver Grey and Portland Stone auto paint. Paint codes may help. thanks

The good news is that any of the big box hardware stores can digitally scan and match any colour paint you want (providing you have a sample) in a fairly decent rust paint. The bad news is if you want the original matt it seems impossible to get anymore.

Buy Mike Starmer’s books for accurate samples and have them mixed by your local paint supplier.

You can also make the samples yourself using Mike’s formulas as specified on the MAFVA website - see the thread above.
