Hakim 8mm rifle parts

Hi looking for Front barrel band and front sight globe for this rifle. Plenty on ePay US, but no shipping to Canada. Any help in finding the parts in Canada or someone that I could have item shipped to in the US who can then forward to me appreciated. I would buy on ePay and use your address in the US.

Parts

There are two rifles that get called Hakims - the grown-up version of the Swedish AG42B, and the Belgian SAFN-49. Different rifles completely. Which do you need?

Ben,

Remind me: I seem to remember the Hakim has a really odd bolt release when fully drawn to the rear on an empty mag? Cannot remember just how it releases but I was caught out doing a 100% check on a museum collection. I pulled back the bolt to check 'empty', and could not work out how to release it. Very embarrassing, but saved by an old hand who had been caught in similar fashion some time before.

The receiver cover operates a bit like a handgun slide. Push it to the front against the operating springs. It will click to lock the bolt and cover together. Then push to the rear to cock the hammer. If the bolt release is one one side (forget which), the cover will stay to the rear and the bolt carrier fly forward. In the other position, the bolt stays to the rear. I think the release lets go of the carrier to load the top round off the magazine.
