MK-I* universal carrier 2” Mortar mounting
 

In November, 1943, a limited number of kits were supplied for mounting the 2” mortar on the engine deck of the MK-I* model carrier (CO1UC). Here are some drawings taken from the installation instructions memorandum.

The 22” firing rest was shortened, the two AA spring clips reposition on the exterior of the radio operator protection plate. The drawing also shows the previously updated stand-off signal cartridge container bracket.
