Looking for a few hinges and lock mechanism as found in the attached photo. These are needed for wood box reproductions. If you have some available or know where to find some please pm me. Thanks

I wonder if Lee Valley tools would have something. They seem to have a large selection of different hinges and locks for making wooden boxes and cabinets.

Still in the hunt for the hinge and lock

Thanks Jordan and Jim, for the hardware supply store idea, I didn’t see the exact copy but fairly close options at both www.mcmaster.com/#hinges/=17jxnfw and http://www.leevalley.com/en/Wood/pag...?cat=3&p=41241 . Perhaps could use these as an option if the search for originals don’t produce results. The lock is rather unique and did not see anything close to matching. So still in the hunt for the hinge and lock.

Here are a couple more photos of the box trying to reproduce.

Are 81mm mortar boxes really that hard to find?

Princess auto had the similar box for 105 rounds a while back......I think they may have had the same hinge hardware.

These locks and hinges are the same as the ones on my modern 75mm Pack Howitzer blank ammo crate.

No idea where to get them from - but perhaps this info will assist your search.

My first google search for "75mm wooden ammo box"... turned up this amongst others...

Edit - also these hinges for sale on ebay...

Someone somewhere therefore knows where to get the metal parts.
