LP2 Fuel Tank Funnel: Wanted

Hi guys,

I am after a funnel for the fuel tanks for an lp2. Or even pictures and measurements so I could make one.

Cheers
Chris

Chris, they do exist but like most carrier accessories can take time to track down, the last one I found was in Darwin and not for sale.

It looks the same or very similar to a 'Funnel, Outboard Motor' which the Army were still purchasing from my father's company in the 1960s and 1970s.

I'll ask my nephew (now the MD) if they still have any info on them.

It looks like the standard CMP funnel. Is the bottom threaded for adding on the horsecock (spout, flexible in army talk)?

Euan, righto, yes like most things it will take time to track one down. Mike, cheers, it will be good to see what you hear back. Rob, I believe that they are not threaded at the bottom.

Chris,

This is my bgc fuel funnel. As you can see ifs not in as good as condition as Euan's, but it does have the brass threaded fitting soldered to the tip of the funnel, as previously refered to. This was used to fill 2 gallon fuel tanks from larger fuel containers like US jerry cans etc.

Matt,

Thanks for the photos. I stand corrected, they do have a threaded spout.
