CVRT Samson engine out
 

I spent some time yesterday helping others out with a J60 engine with a blown head gasket.

The basic task was removal of the engine, the CVRT does not have a "pack" but a stand alone enegine connected by a coupling to the rest of the mechanicals.

I'm showing this as many locally may know the vehicle but few get to see what happens under the covers in the off season.

As an aside, on a flat surface with good footing a number of humans can move this vehicle when an engine dies, I don't recommend it but it does solve a problem.

Anyway, a lot of grunting and labour and it was out.

My thanks to the others who came to assist and pass on their knowledge.

Shame we didn't have the time to get the replacement back in, another day.
