Triumph TRW
Hello All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Steve, and I've joined MLU to meet like minded people restoring military vehicles. Currently I'm in the process of restoring a 1957 Triumph TRW 500. Hope to have it up and running by spring and bring it to the Paris rally. Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year |
Welcome to the forum.
We would all love t see what you have started with and your progress. What is the rally you talk about |
The Paris Rally is a CVMG event - big flea market and a lot of Brit bikes..

I'm new to posting pictures. I'll research how to do it and upload a couple. I started with a good project.

It would have been nice to have an original one but the story with this one is, it was never registered, transferred from owner to owner after being un-crated, never to be fully assembled. However, that is just the story I was told and the more I look the less I believe it. So who really knows. It is in good shape. Looks as though most fasteners have never been wrenched on. I've had to scour for some parts but fortunately for us in the British motorcycle scene, we have Walridge Motors in Lucan that sells many parts for this military machine.
