A friend spotted it at CFB Borden, and yes it's a brazier/ BBQ.

I was hoping that he had stumbled on a local artisan that was discovering a use for a big pile of track - no such luck.

My guess is that it was made in one of the base workshops.

Maybe I should get handy with all the piles of this I have lying around then.
