HI ALL,
Lately there wae a thread here about the nippleas kind of thread. I whant to convert a nodern nipples to put them instead of the old nones do i will be able to uxe a modern graes gun. so, I need to know the kind and size of those threads. thanks

The problem with using the modern ones is getting the grease gun cable to stay on while you pump in the grease. Some of the spots are almost impossible to get a hand or fingers in and work the gun.

Brian Asbury had or hopefully still has the original gun adaptor that slips on the original nipples. It should mate up to a modern grease gun hose.

For example.

Stay with the right ones. Note the threads are in BSP or BSF. Check your parts manual for which ones are supposed to be there.

Tecalamite grease nipple threads in carriers are 3/8 B.S.Fine.

Not to be confused with B.S.Pipe also known as gas thread
