Chevrolet C30 LAAT project
 

Hi there everyone. Since I am a bit of an impulse buyer I just picked up 6 more CMPs to go with the HUP project I've had on hold for many years. I also got a lot of spare parts, so I guess it is time to get working on the old HUP now that I have the parts I need. I plan on restoring this C30 LAAT for myself and possibly a cab 12 C15 to keep as well. I have already sold off a C60L to a friend, and have a couple F15 4x2 and a C15 4x4 to get rid of. I have a mint cab to swap onto the LAAT as well as brand new tires and rims ready to go. I'll need to hear from some of the other LAAT owners and get some detailed photos of the forward internal stowage compartments as well as a few other missing pieces. I'll add photos to this restoration as I go along and start a separate thread for any other vehicles. When I get my container loads of parts sorted through I will be posting some for sale adds indicating what I have. (Don't ask me yet, I have not had a chance to deal with the volume of parts)

This is the first truck of the package I purchased, I made a deal to sell it to a buddy and he had me disassemble to sandblast then do bodywork and prime and paint a few key pieces over the last 2 weeks, he will finish off the bodywork and paint when he gets it home.
