Saw this British artillery sighting part, but did not recognise it, should have taken picture from the other side I know!

Anyone know what it is??

Looks like a scrapper ,has the top of the dial sight holder cut off which was a typical thing done to remove the brass for scrap.
It worth very little what with the other parts missing ,a good complete unit is worth around £350.
