Jeep Marking - postwar
2 Attachment(s)
Hi
Can anyone identify the ship symbol on the attached photo? Leading guess right now is Camp Utopia. The fellow I'm posting the question for has found the remains of the same symbol under a layer of paint on one of his M38s. Looks like a white sailing ship profile on a blue circle Any help appreciated. :) regards Darrell |
Re: Jeep Marking - postwar
Darrell, it is the formation marking of Military District No. 7 (Eastern Command), which encompassed all of the Province of New Brunswick.

Hi Mark
Thank you for that. I thought there was a seven there but didn't want to skew any answer. Congrats on your 3K post too. :) Do you know what time period it was in use? Thanks again. regards Darrell |
