Who, What, Where and When

My initial thought was some sort of post WW1 Royal Inspection, but I am beginning to think it's just a pair of Officers and wives heading off for tea.

Not a Citroen.......
Looks like the mid to late 1920s...... not a citroen..... tracks are different....
Radiator has tubes behind the rad framework.... One of a kind British for getting to the back 40 for tea...... don't think the matronly lady in the back is really enjoying the ride..... Could it be French nonetheless...... the floating GPA "JeypayHa" says Peugot on the bow....... does Peugot stands for Titanic in French??? Cheers |
Bob,
That half track is a Citroen Kegresse, early 1920's. My grandfather drove one of the first ones in England. The lady in the back is Queen Mary and it looks like the King is driving. It is an Artillery Battery staff car I believe. regards, Richard |

I think this machine showed up in a garage on a programme called "Salvage Hunters" a few years back..

Wouldn't mind having it in my garage. What a cute little perambulator.
