Carb and missing parts
 

Hi all,

My alligator engine is nearly back togeather and I need to get hold of some missing parts.

I am in urgent need of a carb. Idealy I would like to put the same solex carb which came of back on but this is in need of some mager spares. Failing that I would like to fit a ford carb as I think this would be the best substitute.

Does any one know were I could get hold of either a new Solex 30 AA PI Carb or at last a complete overhaul kit includding new butterflys and spindels. Or a new ford carb which will fit my early 21 stud engine.

I have attached a photo of my solex for referance. as well as some photos of my engine rebuild.

Also I could do with a pair of new water pumps again to suit a 21 stud engine but these need to have twin pulleys. Mine look like thay have been filled with quickdrying cement.

Any help or information greatfully recieved.

On a diffrent note is anyone going to buckfastley next week.

Am I going to do WHAT?!? I don't think I've done anything like that since I was a teenager!

PS: Your motor looks great! Is that a Lucas Magneto on the front or a distributor?
