I took these pics in 2012 at the Pine Ridge Car Museum at Arthur's Seat.

Here's one of the same truck taken around 1982 in Toora after it had been moved from the shed for the first time in 20 years.

The truck, chassis 2842100584M was the local tow truck and was last registered in 1969. Although close to the sea it had been fairly well protected.

Quite a tidy conversion, took me a moment to recognize it as a sigvan! Nice repaint and signwriting but the sea air has done it no favours since then. Mind you nothing lasts outdoors anywhere in Victoria!
