Just announced from Riich, a new carrier kit in 1/35th scale.
This will knock the old Tamiya kit into a cocked hat.

I and others have been involved with this project for over a year, (thanks Nigel). Others know who you are.

We have done everything to make this a pukkah job, and I hope you will like it.

It is scheduled to be released in Februay.......check it out.

George.

I personally prefer the 1:1 scale version, but I copied and expanded the poster you show, and it does look pretty good. Not that many years ago we would have looked for diagrams like those to figure out some of the carrier mysteries.

Hi George

Looks great, well done. You just need to do the modification kit to make a Bren and Scout.......I know where there's one you can measure if you like
:-)

All the best

Ben

Scout

You are still in my thoughts Ben, the fact is I have been really busy, having retired I have so much LESS time !!!!!

Planning on visiting, the last time I was let out, I found a Holt Artillery tractor of WW1 vintage, in pristine condition in Norfolk, a couple of days photoing and measuring, then off to London to spend time at Woolwich Firepower, getting a mass of info on 6 inch howitzers, my points bag with the missus needs topping up before another venture....but I will be in touch......any more photos yet ????

Rob, its only through guys like yourself that this thing really got off the ground.....the info from the site, help from the team has made it possible, I really hope the company has "listened" to our advice. It certainly looks the piece...however I am sure there are going to be a few quibbles...only natural...but nothing that cannot be put right.

In a strange way, it's kinda a small tribute to the MLUers, we cannot all own a real one, but this may help fill a gap.

I'll water it daily to see if it grows !!

George.

Hi George, A nice detailed model. I have been warned that the trouble with being in retirement, is that, you get no days off!
Happy new year!

Too true

Jeez, how did I ever manage to do my hobby and work, at least the hobby didn't suffer !!!!

I hope this kit sells well, it will spur them on to do other stuff.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

George.

Rob, are you concerned that the model may not support the weaponry you want to mount on it ??
