Need information on original army bill of sale

Hello i was wondering what a original bill of sale from the army would look like .I have found the original owner of my Dodge M37 and he needs to find the bill of sale but dosent remember what it looks like. Some one has a picture or a description of the paper/document. help would be appreciated !

In that era it will just be a crown assets sale receipt, which is a normal 8-1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. Attached below is one I got in the late 80s for 30 M151A2 Jeeps. You usually got one copy with the price on it, and another copy without.

For those interested, the scan below shows CFR numbers next to the serial numbers, for those who are into that kind of thing.

Most provinces will let you do a stat declaration on older vehicles like these when no original registrations or certs are available.

It is dead simple here in Ontario, I do not know about QC.
Here you just require your bill of sale from the vendor and swear an affidavit at the MTO bureau as to the details of the purchase.
Goes something like this;
I wish to register this vehicle. I have no ownership for it, nor does the vendor. As far as we know, the vehicle has never been registered as it was originally purchased from a Crown Assets disposal sale many years ago.
I want to swear an affidavit attesting to these facts.
In Ontario now we also require an appraisal to confirm the value. We pay tax on the higher of the two, either the appraisal or the bill of sale.
The MTO does a search on the data base using the serial numbers provided. As long as yours doe not come up registered to someone they will use the numbers and create an ownership in the system.

Here in QC i need to be with the vendor or some one that will represent the vendor ,We will need to do a declaration that will be sent to the SAAQ with a bill of sale and thay will decied if the information that we provide is acceptable to register the vehicle. Thay say that i need a bill of sale with all the information of the vehicle EX: serial no, weight, color , engine, etc...

I am always amused that the SAAQ is the licencing bureau and SAQ is the liquor board. :)

OK Terry, you asked for it...How about adding the SQ to the list (the cops) :p
