A & E Dorset 2012 ?

Any carriers booked into A & E in Dorset England this year?

I did it last time, and it was a fantastic weekend.

We drove 22miles and took part in the Dorcester Carnival.

At the end of the day I was deaf and most of my teeth filling's were loose!!

Ha Ha!

hi barry
i'll be there in my carrier, i had booked the cromwell in aswell but they're not letting steel tracked tanks on the road so it's not going now which suites me fine as i'd rather drive a carrier any day.
as for ending up deaf at the end of the day why not buy a set of clansman headsets from ebay for a tenner and fit a set of motorbike comms into them and that way you can speak to the crew without learning to lip read, they have the added bonus of a flap which opens and closes so you can hear people speaking or shut out the noise all together, i sometimes wear mine at home when the wifes moaning :D
see you there

Barry,
Rick is right, for long runs use clansman IC . Buy an IB3 + crew box + 2 prestle switchs + 2 tank crew head sets + 2 pin power lead + 13 pin connetcing lead. An IB3 will run on 12v (yes i know they are 24v but they do run on 12v ), so if your carrier is 12v great if not get a small car battery or s big security alarm battery. All of this kit will fit in the ration box under the comanders seat in the front. run a small power wire from the battery under the rad etc so that it comes out near the ration box. As for the teeth, i sit on a military streacher cusion, its a bit softer so your bum dont go numb and your fillings dont fall out!

Nope! Can't make A&E this time. Even on my bike. It clashes with Weymouth parade of which I am one of the organisers. But after some meetings with Jack. Some of you guys will be joining us at Weymouth at Sparrow's fart on Sunday. It should be interesting from a 'where is everyone going to fit' point of view......But fun!!! Ron
