Stupid Hot

Just opened the shed door.. and came back inside.
It's only 40 but it will get hot tomorrow (Australia Day) maybe only 42.
Should only be 42 for a few days... maybe just a week.

If I hose down the Staghound I might get 3 minutes of Restoration time in tomorrow.

Stupid Hot.
Perth Western Australia.

You can always cook the Aust. Day Barbie ON the Staghound. That I would love to see.
Feel free to keep all that heat on your side.....
Rich.

Same here in prairie Canada where we are expecting highs of 3°C today. Most unusual for around here, where one would be far more likely to encounter -30 this time of year.
(In other words, we central Canadians are not overly sympathetic to your plight).

Same here in Canada, only the numbers are inversed and there's a minus sign ahead of it (-24).

You know what they say about looking for 'sympathy'... it can be found in the dictionary between 'shit' and 'syphylis' :yappy:

still hot

I have already cooked a few fingers on the 12 ton BBQ thanks Richard.
At least the burns will match the one on my palm that reads 1/2" Sidcrome.. be it backwards.

My collection of 25 creosote covered head gasket sets is now one lump and spreading...

The grease gun is floating across the shed floor...

Welding armour in this weather is easy as nothing needs to be preheated...

-24 sounds good about now, any bushfires in your area?

I forgot about our North American friends and the white stuff on the ground.
Is it true your tounge sticks to armour when the wife is not in the mood?

It really gets hot here in Febuary with some 40+ days. I quess it is the same for the Canadians being too cold to go in the shed for a couple of months/weeks.

I guess we all face the same problem and only one alternative...
spend time inside with the family.

The area I live in has both extremes. We can hit +40 in the summers and usually do hit -40 in the winters. I actually went to Kandahar to work the last 3 years to escape the Manitoba winters. With Canada's participation in the war having been reduced, I had to content myself with a week in Cuba (last week actually) and did manage to miss some of the -30 temps.
